      @All @Terence

Sorry, I have bean into holiday and at the moment I´m to busy with my work. There is no time left for open source… A new Version will come in the middle of next month.

    3. Terence says:

Has development work stopped? Activity on this board recently certainly seems to have stopped. Shame, its a great plugin.

    4. Terence says:

Hey Sven, got a problem with 1.2.4 beta on WP3.0/BP 1.2.5.2 – everything works fine for BP, but its missing title and keywords on the blog home page, which is a static page, and the blog itself, which is at http://virtualcrowds.org/blog – the way I have gotten round it is to run All In One SEO at the same time. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

    5. admin says:

New Version 1.2.3 is out now, Thanks to all for the Bug reports and feedback.

    6. thanks for the plugin. I´m using it, but i can not see any changes in the titles.

    7. Fredrik says:

Hi, how do I put the search phrase as the title of the page? If I for example search among the members on the site, to find all members located in a specific city.

This is what I wish to receive:

      title: Members | Cityname

    8. Bolagskartan says:

      Hi Sven,

I am using your plugin on my site, and I really like all the available options! So keep up the good work. The latest release does not work, so I am still playing with 1.1.

However, it does not work on the directory page: This page. I had it working earlier, but when I updated to 1.2, I never got it back to the previous settings.

I just want to be able to add a title on that specific page… All others work just fine. Any suggestions?

      Hi Sven,

      Great plugin! two questions –
      1. when we used the new version clicking on the “Save changes” button didnt do anything.
      2. I tried the older version – I couldnt get the plugins page to work. any tips or insructions on that one?
      Thanks

    10. Terence says:

Hey Sven.. are you not using it on this site? I’m seeing WARNINGs for missing description and missing keyword tags.

      • admin says:

My shame, this site has no SEO at all… It’s my private blog…
But you are right, I should use it here also for testing purposes..
Thanks for pointing me on this.

      • Terence says:

Meta Inspector tells me that you’ve SEO’d your site and everything looks fine!!! I wish my site looked so good from the meta point of view but whenever I activate 1.2.2 beta on my WP3 RC1 site, I get “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare curpageurl() in /home/virtualo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/forum-attachments-for-buddypress/forum-attachments-for-buddypress-bp-functions.php on line 139″. Any advice for me?

        • admin says:

from the error I can see its a conflict with the plugin forum-attachments-for-buddypress. I will try to reproduce this error and let you know…

    11. admin says:

Version 1.1 is a tested stable version for bp 1.2.3 and wp 2.9.2. Please use this one. 1.2.x is in development and I won’t have time before next week to continue on this plugin.

      Thanks for the feedback.

    12. Marius says:

Is not working with Bp 1.2.3 and WP 2.9.2,do you have any new build or do you plan to update it?

    13. mistercyril says:

      Hello Sven,
I totally dig the concept behind your plugin and the settings panel is pretty cool, but… ;-)

I have one considerable problem with figuring out how to setup the plugin (from the templates point of view). I am running :
      - WP MU 2.9.2
      - BuddyPress (latest version)
      - BuddyPress Template Pack
      - AllInOneSeo
      - Seo title tag (don’t know why, I might take it out)

Here is the thing, my header only has this Title code in it :

AllinOne works fine with this set up, but obviously not for BuddyPress pages. I just don’t understand how to insert both the bp_page_title() and wp_title() in my single header.

I know this might sound silly but I really want to be able to use your plugin. Theres just no question as to how useful it is.

      Please help :-)

      • mistercyril says:

Sorry I just can’t get the code to show up…

        if (function_exists(‘seo_title_tag’)) { seo_title_tag(); } else { bloginfo(‘name’); wp_title();}

        • admin says:

You have to change your buddypress header.php to

and in the user blog theme header.php

The rest is done by the plugin.
If you have custom values from All in one Seo Pack, the plugin will use these values.

Seo title tag you do not need, it’s all done already.

          • mistercyril says:

            But I only have 1 header.php
Wouldn’t it be easier to put an “if” statement between title tags? At least it would only have to be in one place…

What would the syntax be for such an if statement?

            Thanks for your help,
            C.

Running latest BP including WP single 2.9.2.

I have activated your plugin but it doesn’t work

      See it here: http://mediapress.co.za

it doesn’t seem to add keywords, descriptions or change the title tag.

      • admin says:

        Hi AntonRSA,
please let me know what bp version you use.
Which template? I will figure this out, Thanks :)

Do you have the same problems with the 1.1 version?

    15. Craig Mullins says:

I’d love a new feature… Sometimes I have a hard time figuring what all the page editing options are for. So maybe link to the page in the admin panel that each thing controls?

    16. admin says:

      Version 1.2.1 beta
Plugin is now ready for WordPress and WordPress MU without Buddypress | Added new Meta fields for post and pages | Compatible with wpSEO and AllInOne Seo Page Meta data

    17. admin says:

version 1.0.8 is out now, with a lot of bug fixes.

And I am really happy to read this article, have a look:

      • Isaac Asante says:

Hey, this version is superb! The %%forumtopictitle%% now works! Great! But please check this page: footballfantalk.com/players-teams/lionel-messi
How can I let the group name appear in the title instead of the slug? I’ve inserted %%currentcomponent%% in the plugin’s settings, but it still shows the slug “player-teams” instead of the group name.
        How can I change that? :) :)

    18. Jochen says:

again, very nice work on this plugin – love it.
      here’s a feature request:
now that i have the latets version installed, my register page doesn’t show a title. would be cool if you could include the /register page in your plugin.

      thanks, jochen

    19. Plugin’s just what I was looking for (latest BP 1.2.3), but one problem — on individual forum topics, %%forumtopictitle%% shows the title of the most recently commented-in topic thread, not the one currently being viewed!

      • svenl77 says:

I was to much in a hurry last week.
I will look into the %%forumtopictitle%% more proper on Monday.

        • Isaac Asante says:

Great plugin! Oh by the way, is the thing resolved now for the %%forumtopic%%? Because I wanted to use it but it displays the latest topic in the forum instead of the current topic’s title as title page. I hope it will be fixed soon… Otherwise, your plugin is outstanding!

          • admin says:

            will be fixed today

            • Isaac Asante says:

Hey thanks, by the way.. I wanted to ask you… What tag should I use if I want page titles to display the name of my groups, group wires, group forums, group members etc… I tried to use the tag %%componentname%% but it didn’t work… How is that?

            • admin says:

              %%currentcomponent%% Replaced with current component
              %%currentaction%% Replaced with current action

            • Isaac Asante says:

Okay, thanks… But when I insert %%currentcomponent%%, the slug appears instead of the group name. Could that be my site’s setup or what? If yes, could you please provide a little bit of help here… Any suggestion? Or it’s just a small update for the plugin which is needed… Thanks.

    20. Jeff says:

Found 0.6.9 to be incompatible with Headspace2. We’re seeing duplicate title and description tags on published pages. BP 1.2.3 Was this new version tested with Headspace?

      • admin says:

        It should if you select
“Will allow plugins to modify generated excerpts”

        under Headspace/Options

But I haven’t tested it yet.

    21. Hi Sven

Thanks a lot for this new version of your plugin. Should it work on the non WPMU version? In the release notes only WPMU is mentioned. In the past you replied that this new version will work for the non WPMU version.

Thanks a lot for your help.

If you update from an old version, please go to the settings page and click on “Update Database”.

bug report and feature requests go in here please.

I’m thinking about to add the following features into the next versions:
      - Nofollow control
      - Image-title and alt-tag management
      - Letter and word counter for the meta edit pages
      - Add meta description in the post edit screen

If you have any suggestions, please contact me.

    23. Werner says:

Does your plugin replace “Platinum SEO Pack”? Right now I’m using this but it does not write titles etc. for the BuddyPress groups, forums, etc.

    24. AntonRSA says:

      Thanks for the update :)

Any chance this will be released for normal WP+bp? It doesn’t seem to work on the standalone version. There’s no link for it on the dashboard.

    27. admin says:

Plugin is broken in bp 1.2
I will have a look into it soon as possible.
I have to much work at the moment. So it won’t be before and of February
